Forumvert developed a French-language, West Africa specific, quick-reference booklet on the use of circumvention tools to bypass instances of shutdowns or other censorship events. The booklet introduces the most relevant tools for the Senegalese context, including an explanation of their use case, instructions for setup, and tips for use. The booklet focuses specifically on VPNs, including what they are, and when/why they should be used. Forumvert printed and distributed the resource in the Saint Louis region, where they hosted a workshop to socialize findings and generate attention.
